Garden Design CoursesOne year online diploma course
You can now train as a garden designer from home, wherever you are in the world via our virtual classroom which utilises the latest internet-based technology.
The Oxford College of Garden Design is widely regarded as one of the top contemporary garden and landscape design schools in the world and together with our sister school MyGardenSchool is the industry leader in on-line education. Our postgraduate level garden design diploma course is internationally renowned and one of the only garden design courses in the world to benefit from video based lectures, allowing students to revisit lessons on-line time and again.
Unlike other courses, this is NOT an online gardening correspondence course, This is the world's first and only video based course where you get exactly the same lectures via the internet as you would if you were sitting in the classroom in person and allows you on-line daily contact with your fellow classmates and your tutors.
You will participate via your weekly on-line video tutorials, download weekly assignments, attend weekly class tutorials with your own dedicated tutor as well as being able to meet and talk to your classmates on a daily basis and share your work via the online gallery and forums.
We run an optional 3 day induction class at St Hugh's College Oxford twice a year in April and September which we encourage students to attend, prior to starting the course. If you wish to find paid employment, our award winning students are considered to be the most employable of any graduate course and have been placed with the country's top designers such as Anthony Paul, Luciano Giubbilei, Joe Swift, Charlotte Rowe, Arne Maynard, and Christopher Bradley-Hole to name but a few.
Throughout the course, you work on real projects, with no other course giving you a better head start.
