Landscape Design
Oxford College of Garden Design's Post Graduate Diploma level course in Residential Landscape Design and Architecture is widely regarded as one of the top courses of its type in the world.
The college is run by award winning international landscape designer Duncan Heather and was one of the first schools in the country to have its diploma course credit rated to postgraduate diploma level by a UK university.
This unique course in landscape design, construction and horticulture gives students a comprehensive understanding of the cultural, historical, technical and practical aspects of successful landscape design.
Lectures are held at Oxford Brookes University and are based around academic study as well as practical apprenticeship.
What the course covers
In addition to attending tutorials and lectures, during this course you will work with real clients and gardens where you get to survey a site, interview your clients and design the garden. This hands-on approach allows you to gain valuable "real world" experience and practical skills as well as a highly respected qualification.
This course will give you everything you need to implement a successful landscape design philosophy, the skills to oversee the development of projects and the confidence to play a key role in the construction processes of landscape design.
