UK & EU students
Only a minority of postgraduate students have their tuition
fees paid through government scholarships or bursaries. Most fund
themselves, perhaps through a bank loan, or have sought private
sponsorship to cover the cost of the fees and living expenses
during the programme. You need to begin planning your finances
well in advance – before you have been interviewed or offered
a place.
Before applying, check whether you are eligible
for an award from public funds.

your MA would bring you professional or vocational advancement.
International students are recommended to contact their local or
national offices of the British Council to ask about potential sources

Sponsorship
Some students are successful in gaining sponsorship from a foundation,
company, charitable trust or private individual. If we accept you,
you will receive a formal letter from the College confirming that
you have been offered a place. This may be passed to any sponsor
in support of your funding application. Make sure you understand
what any sponsorship or award covers. Some bodies make fees-only
grants, while others offer fees and a grant for living expenses. |
