Garden Design Courses
This one-year distance learning course offers:
- A "virtual classroom", enabling students to talk with their tutors and fellow students via web chat, video conferencing and our garden design online forums.
- Interactive video tutorials and downloadable notes. (pre-recorded seminars identical to those on the face to face course)
- Your own personal tutor available on a weekly basis to 1-2-1 feedback
- Screen sharing; with your tutor able to access your computer to give you first hand advice and help with project work.
- Option to extend the length of your course for a further 1-2 years
- An Online gallery – enabling you to share ideas & feedback on your designs, planting plans, gardening, construction drawings with fellow students.
- Monthly webinars - live video streams with weekly online question and answer sessions.
Course Aims:
We aim to produce the top graduates of any of the design establishments. Our students have won the Society of Garden Designers' student of the year, twice in the last four years, as well as BBC's garden designer of the year 2010. We set out to produce students with the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to undertake a period of professional practice and further professional education.
Course Duration: 12 months requiring approximately 15 hours of study a week. The option to extend your course for a further 1-2 years if required.

Classes are limited to a max of 9 students. Places are limited and are allocated on a first come first serve basis. (Garden Design online Enrolment requires a £500 deposit with the balance payable 4 weeks before the start date.)
